Hogfarm Associates Africa Ltd, was started in 2020 by farmers who had come together in a bid to import improved genetics from South Africa.
But because there were a number of other challenges to the farmers apart from genetics, like feeds, market, farm management and modern farming techniques, a vision was birthed by the current Chairman together with a few friends, and a company limited by guarantee was formed and registered officially, to foster on synergy of how to face the different challenges facing the piggery farming sector.
